As for the topic itself - ok, rape porn is, to me, just another type of porn. Whatever floats one's boat, and all that. Until they can prove, beyond all shadow of a doubt, that rape porn can be linked with someone going out and committing a real rape,  I have to believe this is another governmental ploy to control the population just a little more. And sadly, because porn IS viewed questionably already, it will probably pass a vote in UK.

Given the way that the UK has been pandering to the Muslims lately, I should think that they would encourage rape porn. After all, it's well known that most Muslims LOVE rape. Why else would the world's highest per capita rape statistics be shared amongst Muslim nations..? Treat women like shit, and then rape them... that's Allah's decree. So it seems to me that by endorsing rape porn, the Brits would be encouraging better community relations with their new-found Muslim population. The British government turns a blind eye to every other form of vicious Islamic misogyny in Great Britain, so why not ignore rape porn, too..?

I detest hypocrisy, in all of its forms. If the mistreatment of women is bad, then it's ALWAYS bad. And if it isn't always bad, then it's NEVER bad. So pick one. Because to condone one thing and yet persecute another... when both are essentially the SAME thing at their core... is pure hypocrisy.

No, I saw your point, and I agree with it - either poor treatment towards women is always bad, or it's never bad. As you said, they need to pick one that will be applied to ALL people living within it's borders, regardless of religious circumstances involved.

Want to practice the Muslim faith? No problem. Want to hide behind the Bible(I forget what the Muslims call their Bible) while committing crime? Nope not going to happen.

Either it's illegal or it's not - they have to pick one and stick with it. As you said, to persecute one thing but be tolerant of another, when the thing in question is the exact same at it's core, is pure hypocrisy.
