The side effects of the ILLEGAL option:

  • I get really gorram hungry
  • I laugh a lot
  • I talk utter, utter bullshit sometimes.

Which would you pick?

I do all of that shit without smoking pot... so it seems safe enough to me.  :P

At least somebody has the right idea in mind curious to see if this actually happens.  I doubt this will ever happen in the US least not in my life time tho.  They've spent way too much time and money on demonizing pot over the decades that they are utterly scared SHITLESS of the prospect of changing stance and having to admit they were wrong

Thousands a year die from Asprin overdoses, and the number 2 killer alcohol both of which can be bought in any freakin store. There's not enough "Testing" on the effects of marijuana which has been cultivated and used since b.c whatever but theres enough on viagra? I refuse to touch a drop of alcohol until marijuana is legal.

QuoteThe Republican-controlled House passed legislation on Thursday to force President Barack Obama to crack down on states that have legalized marijuana in any form.

And yet they claim to be for states rights.

Only when it suits them. Hypocrites. >:(

The drug war has been a huge boon to the Republican party, and a boondoggle to the rest of us. :P

Fortunately, it's unlikely the legislation will pass the Senate. 8)

Thus far, there have been no significant problems in Colorado as the result of legalizing marijuana there.

For the states that have completely legalize pot, I wonder how this will affect the drug testing polices of companies that operate within those states. I wonder if they will keep their drug polices as is and fire people who test positive for THC or change their policies to ignore THC.

They will most likely add a clause or something along those lines to avoid a trip to the courts. I can just see it: Citizen sues corporation for.....

Last I heard, companies still had complete latitude in their drug policies. Which means if your job does drug testing and they don't allow marijuana, you can still be fired for a positive THC result. >:(

Well, most companies don't want drunken workers on the job, either. And alcohol has been legal for centuries.

In time, I expect that people's attitude about pot will relax... especially after they see that the legalization
of pot has not caused any significant new problems.
