Most people with brains will boycott this greedy nonsense. It's outrageous.

My question is... I see lots of money being made by Bethesda. What I want to know is, how much are the modders being paid..? I'm guessing that the answer to that question is either "Nothing," or "A small one-time payment." If true, then Bethesda's business practice is not only greedy and exploitative, but it may also be illegal. Bethesda can call this anything that they want, in their lame effort to side-step any legal issues, but I can promise you that their deceptive "Oh no, these aren't actually paid mods" horseshit would never stand up in a court of law.

Anyway... and I'm speaking as a modder now... I would never have anything to do with this shit. No way -- no how. Did anybody pay me to fix all of the bugs in VTMB..? No -- nor did I expect to be paid. Did anybody pay me for my MELF Superskin mod for Oblivion..? No -- nor did I expect to be paid. How about my various other mods for Hellgate, WoW, EverQuest, Oblivion, Skyrim, VTMB, etc., etc., etc..? Did I get paid for any of those..? No -- nor did I expect to be paid. Player-made content should always be freely distributed.

My advice to everyone is: punish Bethesda... by boycotting their promotions, actively pirating their games and taking away their money. The best way to punish greedy people is by hitting them where it hurts them the most: in their wallets.
